Meet Jeff, he’s a Co-owner and Head Functional Coach here at Stimulus. He’s a Reno/Sparks local and thinks that this is a great community we get to call home. He’s definitely a social butterfly and loves to interact and connect with everybody in his life, especially his members. Not a day goes by when he isn’t cracking jokes, making insane faces, or showing off some pretty sweet dance moves. He always keeps you on your toes which adds a kind of freshness to class everyday.
Coach Jeff has been involved in athletics since he was a kid. He focused mostly on football through his college years, but he loves anything that can be turned into a sport or game. Physical fitness has always brought joy to his life and it is this same feeling that he wants to instill into each member.
His main goals are to get you functionally healthy and moving well, and that every day you leave the gym happier than when you showed up. He’s here for you, and always will be.

NASM Certified Personal Trainer & Lifestyle Fitness Coach
I have been coaching clients the importance of good nutrition and lifting weights for over 6 years now. Helping others discover their own version of fit and healthy is my true passion in this life.
Weightlifting changed my life. I was in a dark place before I discovered this version of fitness that actually worked for me. My goal now is to find those people that need me and need help to finding their fit.
I began in the fitness industry as a front desk employee and quickly realized (thanks to Jeff, the owner of Stimulus) that I wanted to be a trainer.
I’ve now been helping people for 7 years of all backgrounds. I’m am certified or have various CEUs by Precision Nutrition, NCCPT, PTA global, NASM, and am in the process of becoming a CHEK level 1 Practitioner.
I am always searching for ways to gain more knowledge and actively stay up to date on scientific research and evidence practices. My goal is to help anyone learn not only HOW to take care of their body but WHY.
IFA Certified Trainer
I fell in love with fitness at a young age and used it for various reasons through out my life. Like many of us, we started out in youth sports and kept the active lifestyle through out our school years. I continued using fitness to help benefit my work life and keep my physical and mental life healthy.
Once I become a certified trainer, I was able to transfer my love of fitness to those who need the extra push getting their goals started. In addition, as a current bodybuilding competitor, I’m able to transfer my competition knowledge to my competitive clients. I’m on a constant pursuit for knowledge to help all walks of life become that healthy, confident person hiding away.
Sarah King attended the Ralston School of Massage 710 hour program and graduated in July of 2011 with knowledge in Deep Tissue, Sports Massage, Therapeutic, Swedish and Trigger Point therapy. She has been practicing massage and bodywork for several years and especially enjoys working with the athletically inclined. As a previous figure competitor and currently a strongman athletic competitor herself, Sarah understands that athletes tend to need serious TLC for what they endure during training for specific events or rehabilitation from an injury. Whether you’d like a relaxing and calming massage or a “hurts so good” massage, Sarah is able to provide you with what your body needs for rejuvenation, rehabilitation and relaxation. NVMT.5357
Dr. Rouse’s first desire to help others developed as she endured several hip surgeries, the subsequent recoveries, and the need to have to relearn how to walk three times. She wanted to help people who were also struggling through recovery as well as having issues with their body not doing what they wanted to do. After finishing her undergrad degree, she became a National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) certified personal trainer and gained an extra certification as a NASM Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES). Through this continued training, her passion for finding the root cause of her client’s injuries or muscular imbalances grew. She was driven to able to give her clients more help than she had received during her recoveries - she wanted to continue to help improve the quality of life for those around her at a higher level. It was shortly after this; Dr. Rouse decided to attend Chiropractic school to further her education. Through her schooling as well as various other seminars during school, she was able to fill her tool box with a variety of different adjusting techniques.
200 HOUR ASHTANGA TRAINING & 200 HOUR HATHA TRAINING
My yoga journey started in 2016 when I was living on a yoga farm in Australia. I didn’t realize now how unhealthy I was, not only physically but mentally. I started practicing yoga every day for the entire month while living on this farm and have not looked back since. I continued my travels and practiced anywhere I could find space. That’s the gift of yoga, you can practice almost anywhere at any time. I was addicted. I could feel the difference in my days when I did not practice. My physical body and consciousness had completely changed.
I came home to Reno and wanted to learn more. I started practicing Ashtanga yoga every day for one year with my guru Carol. I eventually completed my first Ashtanga teacher training in 2017 and in 2018 I completed my Hatha teacher training. Yoga has given me the gift to see this beautiful life with new eyes. Yoga has forever changed my life and I feel blessed to have the knowledge to share this gift with you. Yoga is not about how much you can twist your body; it is about bringing yourself to the present moment. Yoga is about connecting your breath to each movement and the feeling of this connection is true magic. Yoga is for EVERYBODY! Can’t wait to yogi with you!
Krysti didn't choose the gym life, the gym life chose her! Married to Co-owner Jeff Baker, she began her fitness journey as a non-serious gym attendee, but now functional fitness has become a part of her daily life!
In recent years, she started using nutrition to help overcome some life-long health struggles. She is currently pursuing a holistic nutrition certification and spends most of her free time listening to nutrition podcasts and staying up to date on nutrition science when she isn't running our online macro coaching program.
She also loves to use her business skills (and professional training) to make sure Stimulus Health + Fitness is running smoothly. If you have questions about the business side of things or nutrition - she's your girl!
